CycleSphere Returns Policy

At CycleSphere, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, this Returns Policy outlines the process for returns, refunds, and exchanges. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns for eligible items under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery, unless otherwise stated.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, in their original condition, and with all original packaging, tags, and accessories included.

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or receipt.

  • Eligible Items:

    • Most accessories (e.g., helmets, apparel, tools) are eligible for returns, subject to the conditions above.

    • Bikes are eligible for returns, but additional conditions may apply (see Section 2).

  • Non-Returnable Items:

    • Custom or personalised items (e.g., custom-built bikes).

    • Items marked as “final sale” or “non-returnable” at the time of purchase.

    • Used or damaged items (unless defective or damaged upon delivery).

    • Items without original packaging or missing components.


2. Special Conditions for Bikes

  • Inspection: Bikes must be returned in their original, unused condition, with no signs of wear, assembly, or damage.

  • Assembly Fees: If a bike was partially or fully assembled by CycleSphere, a restocking fee of 5% may apply to cover labor costs.

  • Shipping: Due to the size and weight of bikes, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product).

  • We recommend contacting us for assistance with arranging return shipping.

  • Inspection Period: Upon receiving a returned bike, we will inspect it for compliance with this policy. Refunds or exchanges will be processed only after inspection.


3. Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  • Provide photos of the damage or defect, and we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund, at no additional cost to you.

  • For bikes, we may require additional documentation or inspection before processing a replacement or refund.


4. Return Process

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at paulgehan@icloud.com or call to request a return.

  2. Provide your order number, item details, and reason for the return.

  3. Pack the Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories, tags, and documentation.

  4. Ship the Item: Ship the item to the address 7 Hyacinth St Bridgeman Downs.

  5.  You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

  6. Tracking: Use a trackable shipping method and retain proof of shipment. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.


5. Refunds

  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 5–10 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If the original method is unavailable, we may issue store credit.

  • Non-Refundable Fees:

    • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

    • Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

    • Restocking fees (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Partial Refunds: If an item is returned in a condition that does not meet our eligibility criteria (e.g., minor wear), we may issue a partial refund at our discretion.


6. Exchanges

  • No exchanges will be accepted.


7. Store Credit

  • In certain cases (e.g., unavailable items, expired payment methods), we may issue store credit instead of a refund.

  • Store credit can be used for future purchases on our website and does not expire.


8. Warranty Claims

  • Bikes are covered by a 24 month manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Accessories are covered by a 12 month warranty.

  • Warranty claims are separate from this returns policy and should be handled according to the manufacturer’s terms.

9. Your Consumer Rights

  •  This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, such as the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy under these laws.
